Tigris DTS System

The Tigris DTS (direct tube sampling) system automates all phases of molecular diagnostics testing — from sample preparation, amplification and detection to reporting results — giving laboratories better, faster and more efficient ways to work.  It is the first system to offer absolute automation for molecular diagnostics with unmatched versatility and ultimate flexibility.






The Tigris DTS system is the first diagnostic instrument to truly automate nucleic acid testing (NAT) from start to finish. The Tigris system optimizes the lab with multiple assays on one system. The system can process approximately 450 samples in an 8-hour shift, and up to 1,000 samples in approximately 13.5 hours. Because one trained operator can run two or three Tigris instruments simultaneously, the productivity of a single technician can be up to 10 times greater than a technician using other semi-automated systems.

Integrating the Tigris system with Hologic Aptima assay kits for NAT offers true freedom from hands-on processing.

Hologic instrumentation is only available for use with FDA-cleared or approved assays, or in a country or region where it is registered for use.

Performance Data
